Working in Partnership with the Local Community
During the Autumn Term as part of an ongoing fund-raising plan, Jem Computer Systems of The Granary Coal Road, Cupar and Bell Baxter Parent Council joined together in supplying a Laptop raffle prize for the pupils of Bell Baxter High School. Mr. Bill Ledingham, Chair of the Parent Council, said "there was a lot of interest in the raffle prize amongst the children, with a Laptop being an essential part of home study and a very sought after prize. Tickets have been sold during Parents' Evenings and during the school day , with a lot of interest in this raffle draw".
The draw, which took place at school on 21 December with Mr. Kevin Nicolson of Jem Computer Systems officiating and pulling the winning ticket from the box . The name on the lucky ticket was Kathryn Grace, a 13 year old, S2 pupil.
